HOW DO WE RELATE TO OTHERS AND TO NATURE?

In our last year's Mountain Programme, we felt
lucky to be able to hike in a still priviledged and protected
environment, and realized how important it is for us to understand
how we relate to nature. Therefore, this year we would like to emphasize
the relationship we have with nature. The question is all the more
important nowadays, when huge ecological disturbances appear everywhere.
So if you feel concerned, we could :
- explore more closely together, what is our relationship
with the outside nature, with «our body's nature» and
our inner reactions. Are we divided, separate, from nature, or
are we «nature» as Krishnamurti once said ?
- have silent moments to experience the effect on us
of this impressive nature
- become aware of what is preventing us from happily
receiving the energy of the streams, the winds, the trees and the
dancing sun?
- share the question of how we face the current problem
and maybe touch on the fact «that we are the world»
Programme
The programme will revolve
around Krishnamurti's videos and dialogues. There will be time for
mountain walks and space for reflection.
Music and informal activities are also forseen. Participants will be
involved in shared vegetarian cooking. As we are expecting an international
group, the main language spoken will be English.
Accommodation: in
a Swiss style country house (double rooms) in a small village surrounded
by the unspoilt beauty of the Alps.
Please bring: Sleeping
bag, rain jacket, comfortable clothing for warm and cold weather,
sunhat, sun cream, towel, swimming suit, hiking boots. Health insurance
should not be forgotten.
Price
Sw.Fr. 400.-- (250 euro) This includes all
activities, accommodation, breakfast and dinner.

Travel to Bourg St Pierre
By public transport:
You can buy a combined train and bus ticket from Geneva airport to
Bourg- St- Pierre for about Sw Fr 80. The timetable is online at
the SwissRail website. The journey takes 3 hours.
By car:
From Geneva or Zurich towards Lausanne then Martigny and Grand St Bernard.
Bourg St Pierre is just before Grand St Bernard. The journey takes
2 ½ hours.
To reach the house:
From the town hall / bus stop, walk up the main road of the village
toward the church. At the shop Vis a Vis, turn to the left. Then
to the left again. The third house to the right around a corner,
with blue shutters, is your destination!
