INTERNATIONAL WEEK ON EDUCATION FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN

Hikes will be
organized twice weekly.

Special attention will be given to the body
through yoga, Qi Gong and other exercises.

In the evenings, there will be time for either
specific videos or activities offered by participants.

Breakfast and evening meals will be vegetarian.

| Parents interested in the work of
J. Krishnamurti are invited to take part in a week's study on education. |
Our intentions are :
- To deepen the relationship with our children and also to
enjoy a time of leasure.
- To get to know other parents who are sharing our interest
for an education which is supporting values like affection,
joy and respect for life.
- To raise with parents and children question
relating to the value of relationship, fear, imitation, influence
of society, sexuality, death.
- We do not want to amuse the children
or stimulate them only but we wish to find a way of relating
with them with joy, laughter and seriousness, and opening them
up to wider issues.
What is planned:
- Exploration of certain aspects
of the work of Krishnamurti through video and texts
- Dialogues
between parents and children and activities for both of them
- Observation of our relation to nature and to others through
projects using photography, games, singing
- Specific activities
: watercolour,walks in the mountain, and drama
Practical information
- Children's age : preferably betwen 5 and 15 year's
old
- Breakfast – 07.30 – 08.45
/ Lunch : 12.45 /Evening meal 19.00.
- We will be helping with
some small cleaning and the washing up, but a delicious vegetarian
food will be prepared by André our
cook and in charge of the chalet.
